I recently did a Facebook Live on this subject which you can watch here.┬áBasically, I recently had a positive interaction with Sarah Nelson’s Grasmere Gingerbread Company and felt the need to say why I think a lot of businesses could learn about this.

I noticed Greg James from Radio 1 had been talking about the Gingerbread Company in his Instagram Story so I decided to message them on Facebook to let them know. Having worked for many brands I’d want to know if one of mine had been mentioned! Yasmin from the company messaged me back saying how pleased she was and if she could have my address.

A few days later a little parcel arrived with some gingerbread – I was over the moon! To me, this is a fantastic example of why your brand isn’t JUST your logo; it’s the people, the products and the ethos behind your company. I can never stress this enough.

As in a previous blog, (read it here) we buy with emotion. By sending a small sample of their products, the Grasmere Gingerbread Company has shown they care about their existing and potential customers and are grateful for interaction.
