Cedar Manor is a luxury boutique hotel in the Lake District. The owners Caroline and Jonathan were keen to rebrand as the hotel had undergone a stunning makeover and they knew the branding didn’t quite reflect the quality they wanted to portray.

The cedar tree on the grounds of the Manor was key to the design of the logo. It’s so synonymous with the hotel that we wanted to incorporate it in a silhouette style that felt stylish and elegant. The type is clean and crisp to reflect their attention to detail, and the colour scheme is sumptuous and elegant. The interior design of the hotel includes lots of blues too, so the owners were keen to keep this theme going in the visual branding too.

Since the rebrand, the hotel has come out of a global pandemic in style – winning yet another Cumbria Tourism award and Cedar Manor came in top at the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards coming 1st in the UK and 10th in Europe for Luxury, second in the UK and 10th in Europe for the Most Romantic Hotels and third in the UK and 15th in Europe for Small Stays. Incredible.
